I am a music composer, producer, vocalist & multi-instrumentalist, co-founder of an award winning band PERKELT (Unsigned Only USA 2024, Exposure Music awards UK 2014 & IAMA Finalists)
My band and I have released 4 critically acclaimed albums and performed over 600 live shows across the Europe especially some of the most renowned festivals like Glastonbury Festival UK 2025, Castlefest – NL, Celtica – IT, Cernunnos – FR.
I have studied several music instruments. I started out with recorders and piano and then later I moved onto classical music and oboe playing at a Music Conservatoire and Academy of Music and Performing Arts in the Czech Republic where I graduated in 2009- BcA (HONS). In 2011 I moved to the UK to pursue a career of a full time artist.
I have been a professional composer, producer, vocalist and a recording multi-instrumentalist for the last 15 years. I am proud that one of my original instrumental tunes “Pilgrim” has currently over 2,7M views on Youtube and another tune Velt Leen got nominated for a Song of the Year by the Celtic Radio in Canada in 2014.
As well as writing and recording music for my band I have been releasing my own solo music as an artist Paya Lehane. Music that I have produced can be found on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, iTunes, Amazon, TikTok, Pandora and many others.
Another huge highlight of my musical journey so far has been co-writing an album Hollow Skies with a Grammy award winning producer Youth ( Pink Floyd,The Orb, Take that, Paul McCartney and many others). I also had the pleasure of working with some other brilliant musicians such as a folk singer/songwriter Gwendolyn Snowdon (NL), Sophia Kinston of the Tailor Birds (AU) or a UK artist and songwriter Cenris.
